Love this! You rocked the editing… my fave part was the sound of you sipping your coffee😂🙌🏻🏆 also, now I’m so terribly curious… what does kataifi taste like/texture like? Where does it come from? How is it “typically” used? I’ve never heard of it! Look like I’m in for a rabbit hole…

Thank you! Kataifi is a middle eastern/medditerranean ingredient. It’s a type of shredded pastry dough. From what I’ve seen, it’s used mainly used to wrap or fill all sort of foods, not just desserts. It’s usually baked and soaked in butter or syrup or something like that. I decided to toast it first since I wasn’t able to bake it haha. It’s kind of nutty, and doesn’t have as fuzzy of a mouthfeel as you might think. It has a nice crispness to it!
